OIL CHANGES
Lube, oil, filter service
Regular oil changes are crucial to prolong the life of your vehicle. Having your vehicle serviced at Mike's Service is much more than just draining the oil and changing the filter. Your vehicle will receive, at no extra cost, a thorough vehicle safety inspection. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Check and adjust tire pressures
- Check and top off all vehicle fluids
- All suspension components checked for wear and lubed
- Brake linings checked for wear
- Tire tread depth/wear pattern

WARNING LIGHT DIAGNOSTICS
Take care of those annoying lights on your dash.
We have the ability to preform complete vehicle computer diagnostics on most makes and models. Late model vehicles rely heavily on computers, modules, sensors and switches. At Mike's Service and repair we have access to factory service information and wiring diagrams. This means that even the toughest electrical diagnostics are no problem for us. We pride ourselves on being able to fix the problems that nobody else can figure out.

Air conditioning is something that is sometimes overlooked. At Mike's Service and Repair we carry and maintain an EPA 609 certification meaning we are qualified to perform repairs on your vehicles air conditioning system. While you many think that A/C is only a comfort feature for the summer months, your vehicle utilizes the air conditioning system in the winter months as well. During cold weather your vehicle uses the AC to dry the air in the passenger compartment to defog the windows while you are using the defroster. ABOUT US

Hey, my name is Mike. This is my wife Emily and my son Michael. Together we own Mike's Service and Repair LLC in Clay Center, Kansas. For as long as I can remember, I have always had a love for anything with an engine. As a kid I used to love taking small engines apart just to see how they worked. Eventually I started taking non-running small engines and making them run again. I knew one day I wanted to own my own repair shop and help give back to the community that raised me. My hobby turned into a career and I have been working in the automotive industry since early 2008 while I was still in high school. After high school I attended North Central Kansas Technical College and received an Associates of Applied Science degree in Automotive Technology. Since then I have considered myself an automotive professional. What I mean by that is that is that I am not just a mechanic, but an automotive technician. I pride myself on being able to actually diagnose and repair a vehicle correctly on the first visit rather than just throwing parts at a problem and wasting my time and your hard earned money. Over my professional career, I have worked for Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Ford and Chrysler. The dealership world was not a good fit for me as there is just too much red tape so I left for a short period to work on heavy equipment for the military. It didn't take long for the automotive world to start calling me back though and in July of 2021 I bought Hundley's Garage and changed the name to Mike's Service and Repair. Since then I have worked hard to change the stigma that surrounds auto repairs. I want people to know that as long as I am in business, there will always be a professional and honest place to take your vehicle where I care about your wallet just as much as you do.
